‘Perfect example of what it’s like to own a cat’: Cute kitten becomes obsessed with sabotaging her pawrent’s showers, so her mom builds her a spot to shower safely

Happy Meownday, feline friends and fellow pawrents. Does your cat have any silly quirks that you've just learned to live with? Like, fur example, our cat will literally follow us around the house to rub her belly so she can fall asleep. It's the only way she cuddles with us. She doesn't lay on us, but if we're all on the couch, she will just flop over next to us and stare at us until we start rubbing her belly. Yes, she is an absolute weirdo and we love it.

It's not really that strange if you think about it. Especially in comparison to this feline pawrent's kitty who became obsessed with sabotaging her showers. This cat would get on the edge of the shower and patrol while clawing at her mom's hair mid-rinse. Well, like all cat pawrents, she finally gave in and built her cat an awwdorable basket so they could shower together. At the very least, she doesn't have to worry about her cat falling in the shower with her while she plays with her wet hair. Watch the hissterical video below!

  • There is no stopping a cat once they've decided to do something. This cat mom could have built a 20-foot wall around her shower to try to dissuade her cute kitty, but we guarantee you it still wouldn't have helped. Sometimes, it's easier just to let them do their thing and you just get used to it.

  • Our cats hate the shower. If they hear us turn it on and they are anywhere nearby, they will run in the opposite direction. They won't even get near us when we get in the bathtub. Our glass of water, on the other hand, they love. Why they want to stick their whole faces in our water glass but don't like the shower, we have no idea.
