While it's not uncommon for good things to happen to bad people (and vice versa), especially in a corporate setting. But sometimes, just once in a while, we get to witness how arrogance paired with utter incompetence creates a perfect recipe for disaster. And in this spectacular case–when a boss overworks and underappreciates her only capable employee while refusing to listen to reason, and gets served a healthy amount of poetic chaos as a result.

After our Avenger's team left due to management's incompetence, this employee singlehandedly kept their department afloat. They mastered the systems, handled multiple markets, and worked grueling 13-hour days. Their repeated requests for help fell on deaf ears, with management crying "no budget" at every turn. Adding insult to injury, the CEO refused a well-deserved raise and promotion, despite the fact that this person was literally the sole reason the company hadn't crumbled yet.

When they dared to take PTO after months of overwork, management decided to replace them entirely and demanded they train their two new hires before leaving. The employee complied—with a brilliant twist. Following strict instructions to train the replacements on legacy systems, they "forgot" to share any tips or insights for running daily operations. By the time the clueless hires realized they didn't know what to do, the damage was done.
