It seems like her husband is at least willing to hear her out and apologize. He sees how he's hurt her, and he doesn't want her to feel bad. I hope they work this out, and that he's a the good guy he seems to be right now. It's not easy to find good ones out there, and if she has one she should try to keep him.

It's good that she confronted him about this. One, it's super weird to bring up divorce out of nowhere with your spouse, and want to talk about the repercussions of a potential divorce. My mind would start wondering if my spouse was considering it and didn't know how to express themselves.

UPDATE: “How could you say I’m not entitled to anything?”: Wife pressured to sign prenup confronts husband, demands she get proper compensation in case of divorce
We're back to Cheezcake, internet lovers of the world. It's never easy or enjoyable to discuss the potentials of things like passing, divorce, or anything else that we tend to want to avoid. As necessary as it is to make a will, no one wants to think about these things. The person making the will doesn't, nor does the person's family. Divorce is the same; it's something every married couple has to think about and plan, which is why prenups exist. To protect the husband from losing everything his wife can sign a prenup. Some people do, some people don't. Ultimately you can't make anyone sign something, they need to want to out of their own volition.
In the story below, the woman's father-in-law brings up the topic of her signing a prenup. He's pretty insistent on it, as he and his son (her husband) own their own company. Her husband is all on board for it as well, leading to her confronting him on the matter. Not only is she offended that it's suggested, but she wonders why her husband is so keen on it.
