Happy meowrning, everyone, and welcome back to the cutest, most wholesomest segment on the internet. A segment where you get to completely disconnect from everything that is going on in the world and focus only on the good things. It's time to meet the newly adopted faces of the week.

Each and every week, on Friday morning, right when you are ready to give up and call in sick to work, we bring you a bunch of fresh and heartwarming cat adoption stories from the web. We scour every corner, looking for the cutest ones, to give you that pawsitivity that you need to finish the week off strong.

As always, of course, we want to say a huge thank you to every single person who adopted a cat this week. And an even bigger thank you goes out to everyone who adopted the "impurrfect" cats - the senior cats, the sick cats, the extra-chonky cats, and every other feline who needs a little more time than most. This might be one of the best things that you can do for a cat. And definitely for a senior cat. Did you know that in some shelters, cats as young as one years old are considered “too old to adopt" by some? They are. This senior would have probably been there for the rest of its life had you not adopted it, and instead, now, he's going to have a warm home for retirement. And that's ameowzing.
