'All he had was this old piece of bread': Poor puppy offers his “emotional support” slice of bread to his rescuers, they save him and find him a loving foster family that adopts him immediately (Video)

Nothing hurts our hearts more than seeing teeny tiny puppies in terrible situations. How could anyone pass by this poor puppy and not immediately scoop them up and bring them into their homes? Especially when he offers you a piece of bread, poor little guy probably didn't have anything else of value except that old piece of white bread. We too, have an emotional support piece of bread…every morning. For breakfast. A piece of toast in the morning does wonders for our mental health.

All jokes aside, this puppy was really going through it. Animal control had taken his mom and siblings a week before, leaving him out there alone to fend for himself. Luckily, a kindhearted person found him and his piece of bread, took him in, and got him cleaned up for a foster family to adopt him. As the years passed, he may have given up his stale slice of bread, but he did develop an awwdorable quirk that he uses to show his pawrents how much he appreciates them. We can barely handle the cuteness of a regular puppy, but a puppy that is so happy from carrying around a stale piece of bread? That's just too much. We nearly cried watching this video, and every time we see it, we still tear up a little bit. He doesn't have much, but he's happy to see people and wants to share with them his most precious thing…see what we told you? It's too much.

We love that he kept his quirky pawsonality through the years. He's traded his bread for rocks, and shares them with his mom whenever he finds one that he loves. If that isn't wholesome, we're not sure what is.
