The spectrum of onion consumers is very vast. On one side of the spectrum, you have folks who would eat onions for the rest of their lives, raw. I've known a few people who willingly bite into a white onion the same way they would an apple or pear. On the opposite end of the onion spectrum, you have people like me. I ordered fried rice from a Chinese restaurant multiple times and asked them for no onions. To my unfortunate surprise, every single time, there were finely chopped onions hidden in every crevice created by the rice grains. My remedy? PIck the onions out, one-by-one, and refuse to eat the rice until it's thoroughly inspected by myself. Yeah, that's a spectrum.
