Oh, Geek Universe readers! Hello, hello. Growing up, I was a PlayStation girl. I spent most of my time playing the Harry Potter games, a bit of Skyrim, and countless mid 2000s movie-themed 3D platformers. Once, my parents had some kind of emergency and left me in the care of an elderly friend. She had a Wii, and on that Wii, she had the game Animal Crossing: City Folk. I spent the entire night playing until my parents came to pick me up, and I never set foot in her home again. The game had such a massive impact on me that fifteen years later, after saving up enough Big Girl money, I have purchased a Nintendo Switch solely to experience the high I felt in Ms. Rosa's living room.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is certainly not disappointing. While I can't say I spend more than an hour or so a day playing, it has become an essential part of my nightly routine. I mean, I have to make sure I get those Nook Miles for doing my daily tasks.
