Cats are aware when their owners are around all the time. The needy cats couldn't be more excited to have their meowther or pawther in the living room on a Thursday afternoon, but they definitely know we adore them way more than they adore us. My theory is that felines just play hard to get… Maybe that theory is tainted by the hope I have in it. Who knows. I choose to be a blissfully ignorant pawrent.
