Everyone has made this mistake before, regardless of whether it has to do with family, friends, or relationships. I distinctly remember being in college and a distant friend was in town for the weekend. This wasn't someone who was particularly kind to me, but she wanted to meet for brunch, so I took her up on it. While I was on my way, I texted my much closer friend that I was dreading the meal… only I didn't send it to my closer friend. I sent it to the person I was about to see. Let's just say it was an awkward meal and we didn't exactly keep in touch after that.
