Person saves cat from the house where she was hit for "misbehaving", taking her to a loving, real furrever home: 'I received the recordings of the women admitting [it]'

Cats misbehave all the time. That's part of the deal. You should know that before adopting a cat - that cats causing chaos is just what cats do. The vast majority of the time, they will be chill, lying on the couch, cleaning themselves, napping in random locations. But during that other little bit of time… they'll be causing chaos. Heck, it's why we love them. Sure, we love their calmness, but life would be so boring without their shenanigans as well.

Never in our lives did it cross our minds to hit our cats for "misbehaving". We may point a spray bottle at them when they scratch our sofa or sternly say the word "no" when they attempt to knock a glass off our table, but hitting them? No. That's way out of line. And if we caught our future child hitting our cat, you can bet that we would not react the way this mom did - we would put a stop to it immediately. We would teach our child what's right and wrong. Our cats would not need to be rescued. This cat did need it.

  • Of all things, this story made us thankful that there are still good people out there. We know there are bad ones. There will always be bad ones. We need enough good ones to counteract the bad, and someone who is willing to put everything aside and rescue a cat like this is definitely one of the good ones.

    pawrescue.turkey She and her cat brother was ab sed with a belt. I received the recordings of the women admitting that her son hitting them when they "misbehave". I was furious and went to the adres, getting her and her brother. I brought them to my cat shelter @bademscatshelter and then put them for adoption. Especially She was really scared and shaking.

    Then a wonderful women, @elifn.akkaya adopted them and gave them the life they deserved. They both are recovered from their traumas fortunately.

  • We don't need anything else. Just this one snapshot of the cat nuzzling and loving its new human is all that we need to know that she is now happy in her new home, and that's all that really matters. Truly. Still, we do agree with the comments that everyone left under the post of this story that went viral.
