‘My missing cat found me today’: Sneaky cat slips off leash leaving pawrent in pieces, until the evening he randomly returned home crying for his mama

Cat-pawrent communication is quite the tough topic to figure out. While there is a deep unspoken connection between the two, there is a lot that needs to be said but is left unsaid. And in those moments when you are both overwhelmed and unable to keep up with your eye contact communication, things can go a little awry. And that is exactly what happened to this heartbroken hooman, who came home from university for the holidays to a new home and decide to bring her cat child along with her.

A big moment for both pawrent and kitty as they acclimatize to their new surroundings and their reunion. But as you will come to see, this meant they were not communicating at 100% and the cat child's desire to have some time to himself in order to process the moment was not met by his mother. Resulting in him taking matters into his own hands, or should we say paws. Thankfully, this story has a happy ending, but it just goes to show how attentive we really have to be as feline pawrents.

The fact that we cannot completely communicate with our cat children is the only downside of cat parenthood. This could have been a simple case of ‘mom, I'm going out to stretch my legs, ill be back later.’. But seeing as this crucial piece of information was not conveyed, it turned this cat child’s leisurely stroll through the neighborhood into a scary saga.

There is no denying that cat parenthood and even more, so cat families are complicated. You never quite know how it will go when you try to introduce a new member of the family, and the principle problem being that you simply cannot be on top of your cat children all the time to stop them fighting. Makes you think about how simple hoomans are in comparison.
