This person totally popped his coworker's bubble, but he wasn't exactly intending to! 

Offices tend to be made up of people from many walks of life, including workers of all different ages and backgrounds. This dude has a coworker who can be the life of the party—he reveals that she once brought in paw-print balloons to reveal that she was getting a dog—but that he gets a bit tired of the theatrics. Some people are like that: every little thing gets turned into a dramatic moment. To be fair to her, expectant parents getting pregnant is actually a big deal worth celebrating, and welcoming a new baby into the family changes everything. It's no wonder you'd want to share this with coworker's you're close with, but it's all about moderation (and reading the room). 

Still, in the workplace, it can get a little old to be constantly focused on one team member's personal life instead of the work at hand. Maybe the disappointment from the incident will cause her to reevaluate her relationships with her coworkers. 

Some of this person's coworkers thought he was a bit impolite towards her, and while that's up to interpretation, he didn't exactly do anything wrong, either. He could always play it off as just being an over-eager friend, but chances are, he won't be the first person she goes running to with her next big announcement.

    Present_Dimens... Tbh if she wanted to surprise everyone she should have cut to the chase a lot sooner. Pregnancy is one of the first things people guess when they state they have big news. Seems like her own fault tbh.

    Ok_Pangolin2219 NTA if you really want a surprise you don't announce it for days to no end. When I told my team I was pregnant it was at the end of some random team meeting, we were doing a round table of work related or random stuff, I just mentioned it, tbh.
