That might be a misspeak. “Quirks” are not synonymous with “pet peeves” and “distractions.” Usually, a quirky trait is something like giving your coworkers a high-five every morning. A pet peeve is toeing the line of “Is it natural, or are they doing this on purpose?" Example: Cracking one's knuckles while staring at the computer, trying to meet a work deadline. But a distraction… likely on purpose and they just don't care. See if you can categorize these stories into those three boxes.
