Resident lurks at neighbors' front doors to see when they get packages delivered, then uses them as an excuse to ask for money: 'I didn't want anyone to steal your package, anyway do you have $20 I could borrow?'

Knocking on our neighbors' doors and asking for a favor is not an unusual thing to do. We've all found ourselves short of something while cooking, or in need of a tool we never considered buying, and turned to our neighbors for help. Even if you don't consider your neighbors as your friends, you can still have a civil relationship with them, and help each other out from time to time.

That being said, every good thing has a limit, and when it comes to said neighbors, you don't want to reach that limit too fast. If you knock on their door every few months, maybe even weeks, and ask for small things at a time, that is acceptable. But if you overdo it, and ask them for favors non-stop, or even go as far as plotting your requests, well, that is when things might get tense, and most likely uncomfortable. 

The resident in the story below is definitely making their neighbors uncomfortable with their repeated requests to borrow money. Especially as this resident is not only knocking on doors to ask for the money, they do something much worse…
