‘The gloves were off’: Couple purchases seats on either side of man in an empty theater, so he teaches them a lesson by ways of popcorn, candy, and commentary

Personal space is important for everyone, but it should be practiced daily among strangers. You never know what kind of person you're existing around, so it's best to assume they don't want to be rubbing elbows and shoulder blades with you in a public place. Most people know this common etiquette, but apparently, not everybody.

Knowing correct movie theater etiquette is equally important. If you're in an almost-empty movie theater, don't choose seats next to a stranger when there are just about one hundred choices to choose from… but that should be common sense, right? Well…

The movie-goer in this story finds out as soon as he sits down in a nearly-empty theater that a couple booked the seats on either side of him, despite there being many more seats for them to choose from.
