‘I might actually respect the HOA for this move’: HOA pulls ‘Uno Reverse’ and successfully restricts a door-to-door sales company with 120 voicemails

It's not everyday that you find yourself rooting for some random HOA on the internet. Usually, if an HOA has made it's way to the starring role on a Reddit thread online, it's not in their favor. They tend to be entitled neighbors with greedy intentions. But that's not what an HOA is for… Technically, an HOA is supposed to be in support of the residents of a neighborhood and fight for them to have the best living experience. And sometimes that actually happens! For instance this HOA! 

 

Here we have found the illusive good HOA who actually did something right for a change. The head of the HOA went head-to-head with the customer service of a door-to-door sales company. It's 2025, who still does door-to-door sales? So you can imagine how extra annoying it was to get that knock while you were trying to work from home. The HOA went to work on trying stop this annoyance. The sales company did the best they could to fight back and keep sending their people to the doors of these residents. But the HOA teamed up with the residents and other HOA members to deal an Uno Reverse on the company…
