25 Relatable Millennial Tweets for Women Raised on 2000s Sarcasm
Welcome, ladies of the World Wide Web. If you look at the pop culture landscape that Millennials were raised in, it should come as no surprise as to why they are so sarcastic. From a young age, I was already quoting Chandler's infamous line from friends: "I'm not that great at advice. Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?" Jerry from Seinfeld, Dr. House from House M.D., the sassy furball, Salem, from Sabrina the Teenage Witch raised this generation. They taught us that saying the exact opposite of the truth in the right tone can make for great comedy.
While Millennials certainly didn't event irony, we definitely embraced it, especially in the form of memes. Every Millennial woman has sent her bestie a sarcastic Wonka reaction meme after finding out that she was right about that one guy with his red flags. If you grew up with irony and wit, scroll down for some relatable Tweets made by sassy Millennials.
