As we get older, friendships begin to dwindle, and the right-hand folk we thought would be by our sides through thick and thin disappear into thin air. This is all just a part of growing up, unfortunately, but fate is there to tell us that everything happens for a reason. For those few friendships we do keep, it's important that we don't take them for granted. "In what ways?" you might ask. Well, take this next story, for one.
A woman and her stay-at-home mom bestie are in a friendship-ending fight because of their different understandings regarding friendship expectations. The SAHM asked for the woman's help cleaning her place because she was wearing thin mentally, and of course, her friend obliged. However, now the SAHM expects the woman to come over weekly and sometimes multiple times a week to clean, purposefully leaving her house a mess in preparation for the woman's arrival. This is not going to fly with the woman, so she finally decides to speak up for herself and let the SAHM know that although she might need some help, it's not up to the woman to be her maid until she gets back on her feet. The SAHM was not happy about this. Scroll down to read the entire story.
