This woman is acting too empathetic. She even refers to herself as being “selfish” for not wanting him to wear it. Is she okay?? Is she living in a delusional bubble or something? Why does she think this behavior is normal? Past the part that it's strangely narcissistic for his man to make her graduation all about himself, it's also absolutely detached from reality. Does he live a normal life, have a normal job? If I saw someone in the crows wearing a gown I would assume they were mentally ill, damaged, or disabled.

“It would be less ridiculous if he wore a wedding gown”: Husband insists on wearing graduation gown to wife’s graduation ceremony, the internet backs up her discomfort around stealing her thunder
Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Graduating is a beautiful and ceremonious occasion. It's not only about the excitement of achieving a well deserved milestone from someone who probably worked way too hard for it, but it's also the entire ceremony behind it. Inviting your friends and family to come and support you, celebrate with you, and pat you on the back. They tell you how proud they are of you, they take you out to dinner afterwards to celebrate, and you have tons of photos to remember the special day forever.
Everyone knows the stereotype of a woman who wants to show up to someone else's wedding in a white dress, and everyone knows what it implies. It's kind of a Karen thing to do. It's saying, "the world revolves around me." More than that, it also implies some detachment from reality for these people. The point is that it's strange and absurd. So read the full story below to see how a grown man is so incredibly detached from reality that he wants to wear a graduation gown to a ceremony he's not graduating from.
