This story is about a man who ends up spending thousands of dollars at the hospital, all because his BIL decided to prank him. Pranks can be fun, but they're pretty immature. I like to prank sometimes, but really innocent and silly things. Nothing would ever cause someone to go to a hospital. What did this grown man think would happen if he put super glue in his BIL's belly button? Especially on a warm day, it was obviously going to turn into trouble.

Man takes brother-in-law to small claims court after prank sends him to the hospital, wife and in-laws turn on him and BIL refuses to pay: “I was left with a medical bill of $2,253”
America: the land of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and suing people! We can get sued over anything, and we can also sue others over anything. You slipped in a supermarket? Sue them. You hurt yourself opening a jar of Skippy peanut butter? Sue them! Your friend put super glue in your belly button? Sue them. Of course there are many instances where these seemingly innocuous acts are actually a threat to our well-being, and deserve the court case. There are also times where it's just a little bit ridiculous to sue someone. Of course, it's the country of freedom and if you want to sue, then get yourself a lawyer, or go down to small court cases and sue.
On an entirely separate note, pranks are something that typically only children do. Teenagers as well, but usually adults grow out of this game. Some adults don't, however. To be honest, I don't mind a prank here and there, but when it gets to the point where someone has to go to the hospital afterwards, you know there's a problem.
