Tweets are like the modern-day sonnets. We read them so we can quote them to our friends, and so it will reflect something about our lives back to us. They give us insight into the world and put our ineffable feelings into effable words. One of my favorite tweets that I keep quoting to everyone I meet is "Don't complain about having too much on your plate when the goal was to eat." It's so corny motivational twitterspeak, but it has been getting me through a lot.

Certain tweets can do that for us: give us language that helps us through tough moments. Other tweets simply make us laugh in the moment and therefore marginally improve our days. Other tweets can help ruin our days by sparking discourse that we never asked to be a part of, but not these tweets. These tweets are safe, funny, and here to make you feel good. Some of them might even stay with you and enter into your vocabulary.
