First-time cat pawrent adopts a concered kitten from a shelter, asks the online feline family for advice about this adorable cute cat: 'He's still getting used to his new home'

We all remember the moment we became cat pawrents. Receiving our newly adopted floofy feline addition to our family, to our home. Some of you reading this might still have your first cat, whether you were growing with them or recently adopted them. Some of your first cats might have already crossed the rainbow bridge, but we're sure they are missed and never forgotten. Regardless of where your first cat is, it's the cat that made you a cat pawrent, the cat that showed you cat affection and love, that we're sure you also give (or have given) back.

But being a cat pawrent for the first time can also be scary. A lot of questions might be raised - 'How can I be sure I'm a good pawrent?' / 'How can I communicate love to my cat in a way they'll understand?' / 'What can I do to help my new cat settle in?', etc. These questions are very impawrtant. One cat pawrenting first-timer turned to the online feline family for advice on these exact matters. Because on the one hand, they experience such happiness and excitement from adding the new gentleman, Bubbles, to their home. But on the other hand, this is their first cat, who experienced a rough life in a shelter, and this hearty hooman wants to know they're doing the best they can for their new floofy friend.

The online feline family was all up and ready to help (because it's the most wholesome online community, obviously), but they were also absolutely smitten with Bubbles' concerned face. Some of them even shared their own concerned cats just when they were adopted - before they felt comfortable in their new home. But everyone sure came together to help this hooman help their cat, so they both feel comfortable. What a wholesome global cat community we have!

Look at this cute and concerned face - Bubbles is only 6 months old, so despite looking like an adult cat he's actually still a kitten. This is his first home after growing up in the shelter, that's fairly understandable he'd be concerned and have this face. But we're sure that with this loving hooman who adopted him, and asks the online feline family for advice on how to be a better pawrent - Bubbles is in good hands. A happy face is sure to follow.

Concerned-looking cats are a common sight right after their adoption, when they see their new home for the first time. But look at all these examples of good-hearted pawrents out there, who take care of their newly adopted cats and kittens and learn how to help them feel comfortable in their new furrever homes. It's truly heartwarming.
