I'm not a horse girl by any means, but I appreciate the beasts. Enormous and generally mild-mannered, horses are a strange part of human society that's just been normalized over centuries of domestication. If you'd never seen a horse before, and one charged at you in the wild, in all likelihood, a human would be scared for their life. They're gigantic, powerful animals—so what's stopping them from kicking your head in or trampling you like a bug? Well, this teenager forgot that horses aren't just docile little critters we have lounging around the ranch; they're big, potentially dangerous creatures that should be taken seriously.
Well, after this egregious and childish act of rebellion, she'll probably never see the inside of a horse stable again.
