22 Curious Critters You Might See If You Go Down to the Woods Today

For those of you who grew up on the Teddy Bear's picnic, you will know that on any given day, you were to venture into the woods, you are likely to come across some quite curious critters getting up to some of the most unlikely things. There is the teddy bear's picnic of course, but then you also have the quadrupedal quarterly salad buffet, you have the bird seed bonanza and of course the best event of them all the fish flamenco. Which is more than enough reason to get off the couch and out into the wild for a few hours far away from the chains of civilization and thoughts of the coming working week.

Swans truly have had a tough go of it. One of the few animals to have relatively close contact to hoomans, they have had to put up with people tossing bread at them for centuries. And due to their inability to communicate clearly with us, they have not been able to inform us that they are actually gluten free.

Well, this is an interesting point, as even though you might see these critters while walking about the woods, you might not notice them. That is unless you are seriously skilled at spotting a pair of pea sized eyes poking out of the water. In which case ribbet to you sir or madam.
