"That's a white man's baby": New mom shuts down rumors spread by husband's coworkers, gets him fired for implying she cheated due to baby's skin color

All throughout my childhood, I was told that I look more like my dad than my mom. My dad and I both have the same tan skin, hazel eyes, and dark brown hair. My mother is also a brunette, but she's bleached her hair blonde since I was a toddler. It wasn't until well after puberty that I grew into my features, and it became pretty clear that I was very much a copy of my mother – just with slightly different coloring. I look so much like her now that there are photos from my parents' wedding that look like I am marrying my dad.

In our story today, a new dad shares pictures of his newborn with his coworkers. One of them, finding that the weeks-old baby isn't the spitting image of his father, decides to spread rumors that the baby isn't even his. Mom catches wind of the rumors and confronts him at a work party right in front of his boss. Scroll down for all the details.

It can be really difficult to muster up the courage to speak up when you've been slighted at work; you don't want to stir up issues or change the dynamics. It's amazing that our protagonist was able to confront him directly like this and defend her reputation and family from such a low-life.
