Hey there, friends! We hope your day is off to a great start. If you haven't already, we highly recommend taking a little mental health walk to get those endorphins kicking and the serotonin flowing.

How do you like to spend your free time? Do you go on adventures? Maybe even treasure hunts? That's exactly what happened to today's original poster (OP), who was out and about with their metal detector when a cute neighborhood cat decided to join in on the wholesome adventure. Apparently, this wasn't a one-time thing—OP recalls that the cat joined them on multiple treasure hunts! OP even shared images of the feline enthusiastically digging up "treasures."

But of course, the real treasure was the friendship that formed along the way. This whole story is a great reminder that many cats actually love the outdoors. We've seen stories of hiking cats, adventure cats, boat cats, and van-life cats who are always on the move. It just goes to show the incredible range of what felines enjoy and appreciate! Personally, my own scaredy-cat would never dream of going outside—but hey, a cat's gotta cat.
