Uncle defends his 16-year-old nephew's inheritance after his former sister-in-law tries to spend the cash on her new family: ‘I told her the money was for Caden and Caden alone’

Family inheritance disputes bring out the worst in everyone. Luckily for this teenager, his uncle was there to protect his nest egg left behind by his late father, lest his mother's new family drain the account dry. 

There's no crime in remarrying after the passing of a spouse, but there is something strange about building a life with someone new and expecting the payout from your previous life. Albeit common for widows or widowers to move on from their grief, not everyone has an easy time letting someone go like that. And the brother in this story wasn't about to let go of the memory—or the final wishes—of his late brother, despite the demands and the alleged emergency of his ex sister-in-law's new stepdaughter. That money was for his nephew and his nephew only… 

And as we've seen in the past, the promise of a little green in your bank account quickly turns the entire family green with envy, hoping to score a piece of the pie just because you're relatives.
