Being a parent is never easy, but being a parent to multiple young children is even harder. When they're a little bit older, they're pretty good about entertaining themselves, even if it's just for a little while. When they're in their toddler years, they need your constant attention. Good luck if you want a couple of minutes to yourself while in a house with toddlers. You're better off winning the lottery. Then, if you did win the lottery, you could use the money to hire a live-in nanny and your problems would be solved. 

Parents of multiple young ones deserve a Purple Heart for their efforts. They're doing Herculean feats of energy and engagement, all while probably working full-time jobs. But then your hard work hopefully pays off when your kids are successful and they make enough money to put you in a high-end retirement home because let's be honest, that's what you really want.
