‘I was pulled into a meeting with my boss’s boss, where I got yelled at’: 30-year-old coworker cries over not being invited to casual conversation then takes it to HR as an exclusion case

Workplace conflicts are unavoidable, but being reported to management for not inviting someone into a casual conversation takes drama to a whole new level. What should have been a relaxed discussion somehow transformed into a full-blown emotional crisis complete with crying, icy silence, and accusations of sabotage. At this point, brainstorming isn't just about ideas—it's become a minefield of feelings no one signed up to navigate.  

Apparently, every moment of your day now demands an invitation or at least an explanation. Grabbing a sticky note? Better send out a calendar invite so no one feels left out. Refilling your stapler? Start a group chat and share updates, just in case someone was hoping to participate in your riveting stationary maintenance. Taking a sip of water at your desk without sending three reminders and hosting a hydration brainstorming session? That's exclusion, plain and simple.  

Basically, the innocent act of existing turns into an HR-worthy tale, and suddenly you're the villain of a snowflake's origin story.
