Total opposites. One's about space wizards and laser swords, the other's about diplomacy, exploration, and occasionally getting vaporized by a malfunctioning holodeck. And yet, they peacefully co-exist. Sure, they'll roast each other online with playful memes, but it's all in good fun.

Now compare that to, say, sports fans. You stick two rival teams in the same stadium and suddenly it's the Battle of Helm's Deep out there. And don't even get me started on politics. Geeks will argue for hours over whether Superman could beat Goku, and then go out for pizza together afterward.
