I (25F) am the closing manager at the store I work at. Coworker (F21) (SC) without fail is always late to work on payday Fridays by three hours or more because she's getting her nails or hair done. She gets those super long fake acrylics done. She's just a cashier so it's not like she's moving boxes and stacking shelves.

One of my closing duties is to count the registers out to make sure they equal $200. If I notice the till is getting low on dimes, quarters, ect I will open the rolls up and refill the tills coins. If you have ever worked

with rolls of coins you know how much they to open, I've noticed with her especially she struggles to open them because of said nails. Here is my petty revenge.

I don't refill her tills coins. We even have two types of coin rolls, one that you have to crack open in the middle and peal the paper away to get to the coins, or one where you just open

one side and dump them. Guess which ones I make sure she has every time. Its not much, but it helps keep me sane during the work day.

spookyoeve OP 17 hr. ago The owner has a thing. about not firing people, it's ridiculous she just cuts your hours until you quit. (Yet she doesn't cut this coworkers hours because all the good employees are quitting I wonder why)

Coygon 15 hr. ago In the owner's eyes, firing people means she's a villain, cutting hours is just a scheduling change. And she doesn't want to be a villain. She probably

6ft6squatch 16 hr. ago Tell manager to schedule her when she usually shows up then. Not when they need her. Then hire someone part time to pick up her slack untill they switch places

spookyoeve OP 16 hr. ago We are constantly looking for more people, it's all up to the owner in the end, the other manager hates her more then I do.

Catnippjs1234 16 hr. ago Ya, why is her highness still an employee?? If she does this every payday, it's a habit and should be dealt with harshly!
