Our TVs weighed about as much as a small elephant, and changing channels required getting up (the horror!). Air conditioning was a luxury reserved for shopping malls, and secondhand smoke was practically part of the food pyramid. Oh, and let's not forget carrying those CRT TVs—they weren't tech, they were furniture workouts!

Now, everything is slick, smooth, and effortless.
