Stray cats that like humans are something else. They live their own lives, they have their own stories and friends and adventures. They don't need us. Their lives are full enough as they are. But for some reason, they like us. They like the attention. They like the petting and the snacks that we can't help but give them. Now, some stray cats choose to adopt humans. Some of them decide that they are done with outdoor life, that they are ready to be spoiled. But not all of them.

Bob was not looking to adopt a human. Bob liked getting food from its human and that's about it. An easy source of nourishment and that's it. Or is it? Because this cat may not have wanted to be adopted, but he certainly liked this one human. This cat liked this person so much that he introduced his girlfriend to them and then brought them his kittens, and then, yes, finally let them pet him. So, while Bob maybe wasn't looking to be adopted, he and his wife and kids have a warm home to visit whenever they so choose.

“This is Bob. Bob sits on the porch and meows very early every morning until I go out and fill food bowls. Some days Bob taps on the door with his paw so I will move faster. Bob is NOT my cat. I don't have a cat. Bob is feral and doesn't let me touch him....yet. I am only allowed to feed him.”

“Congrats are in order. It appears Bob and Baby are already parents and I guess I am grandma to these 2 adorable kittens. Evidently Bob moved the whole family in... Baby hangs out under the blue spruce with the kids and sleeps in the recyle bin in the straw. They may be 2 or 3 weeks old. So cute.”
