You know how we, as the human species, seem to have an obsession with unique-looking cats? Get ready to meet the newest one today. Now, none have quite risen to the level of fame that grumpy cat or Smudge the cat had, but some have come kind of close. Like Dobby, the cat with the perpetually-shocked face. Or like Oliver, the cat who always looks depry and alarmed at the same time. Then there's Betty, a grumpy cat who was not quite the Grumpy cat, but she came close. And no one could forget Noodle, the cat who is always having an existential crisis. We think he might have come the closest to the icons with his level of notoriety. 

And today, we are all getting to meet Peter - also known as "the saddest cat" we have seen in a long, long time. Mind you, he's not actually sad. He just… looks like it. Now, Peter is still a baby, and the verdict is still out on whether he will continue to look this iconically sad forever, but for now… he's captured the hearts of many.
