‘I was their judge. I was their jury’: 36-year-old son claps back at family after they try to worm their way back into his life despite disowning him 15 years prior

Going no contact with family is hard when you call it on your terms, but it's even more difficult when they decide to disown you for mistakes you've made in your past that you've tried endlessly to repent for. Not everyone is perfect, especially children. So, when your parents decide to hold things over your head that were essentially unavoidable at the time, it's best if you move on. Things can only get better if you decide to cut those who don't believe in you out of your life and seek greener pastures without you involved.
