Notmycat greeted me before I even got out of the car.
He showed up a week before Helene and decided he liked the food I feed the other stray cat.

Now what?
A friendly stray decided to have kittens at our place. So I guess we have kittens now?? I am not prepared for this responsibility ??

Notmycat had her kittens on my garden chair
She is one of a colony of outdoor strays that I look after, but hadn't been able to catch her for spaying yet before she got pregnant.
Yesterday I heard some tiny miaows from my garden and she was in labour on my chair!
I've built her a little tent for now.

“Kitty Poo” the cat that convinced me she was a stray for 3 years.
I don't have many neighbors where I live so I'd rather be on good terms with the ones I do have. It's also not my place to take someone else's pet. On the bright side it didn't seem like she cared that I was caring for the cat so I've decided to just let things be the way they are and I'll continue to feed, brush and love her, as well as looking out for her.

I see kitty poo sleeping in bushes close to my front door or on my vehicles when I park them. She even started hanging out in windows where she can see me from inside the house IE when I'm sitting at my desk. (last pic) and she even started coming inside for a bit (pic 2) but when I'd go to close the door she'd run outside again but waits by the door for me to come out.

Sometimes, a ‘not my cat’ isn't actually a stray - it's someone else's cat that roams around to find new hoomans to feed them, pet them, and love them. We call these cats “geniuses” because they really are. What other animal can convince multiple families to purrvide for them without question?

Talk me out (or in) of adopting this cat
I just can't stop thinking about her for some reason. I know I'd be able to take care of her. I work from home so she'd never be alone. They're offering a gift card to get her spayed + shots. She seems to be around 1.5 - 2. The only hesitation I have is when I travel. Sometimes I am abroad for a month or so, so it does get kinda expensive with a sitter. And I will also be moving to Germany within the next 2 years so worried about the travel regarding that.
I legit may have cried from the thought of not adopting her, lol. Helppp

Lil fella was screaming on my back porch
Showed up on my porch, in a box I keep small chopped wood in. Looks maybe a month old, my cat is hissing at it consistently. It is soft, clean, and no visible ticks. What do I do? ??

This is not your house, sir.
This guy has been in the neighborhood for a couple years and has very very slowly warmed up to me and my cats that are indoor/outdoor. He likes sleeping in our backyard even though our small dog will run him off if she notices him. I started feeding him a couple times a week if I noticed he's around since I want to gain his trust so I can get him neutered. Yesterday after getting out of the shower, I sit down on the bed and suddenly a streak of fur jumps up into the window and onto the top bunk. I had caught him trying to come in once before but he bolted as soon as he saw me. He wasn't very happy that I was taking his picture. He ran right back out of the house which requires going down a hallway and through the dining room, so he seem to be familiar with the layout of the house. It makes me wonder if he's been in the house before without us knowing.

When, oh when, CDS, will you bless us with your gifts of the feline variety? Every time we see a shooting star (which is not often, but still), we wish for you to bring us a sweet kitty in need. When will you deem us worthy??

Saw a stray outside my porch. I said “Oh hi! Wanna come in?”
She was outside one end of my screened in porch. I invited her in and nodded my head towards the other end of the porch where the screen is torn like "If you wanna come in the entrance is thatta way" Then she walked off where I couldn't see her and a few minutes later she's cautiously walking up my deck steps. Y'all I didn't expect her to understand English.
She's a little skittish but I went out and got some wet food to keep on hand and have been setting out a plate the last few mornings and she usually wanders in to eat, bathe, and then wander off.
She's now my sacred porch spirit and I love her.

Not my cat visits us every day.
Not a cat guy at all, but this one's an exception, she's quite a sweet kitty.
Waits at our front door on most days if we're not home.
One time I arrived home at the same time as it's owner, the cat came over to greet me instead of her owner. ??

Announces her arrival with a big loud MEOW everytime without fail before entering our back door.
