Pawrent of pawdorable pomeranian gets fed up with people treating her dog without respecting boundries, she lashes out at strangers: 'It's not all sunshine and rainbows having a puppy that looks like the world's most adorable reddy bear'

Training your cute canine is tough at the best of times. You have to put in several hours, hundreds of treats and more patience than you might have had while raising your own children. But what if you found yourself in a position where all of that effort was simply not enough, and not because of you or your darling doggo, but because of random strangers interfering in your hard work.

Well, this is exactly what happened to this canine pawrent who simply wanted to slowly socialize her pawdorable pupper with other dogs, yet was constantly accosted by hoomans who had no idea what damage they were doing to this doggo's training. We can only hope that this post will bring light to the fact that much like it is not ok to walk over to someone's child and pick them up without asking, that it is similarly not ok to pick up a perky pup, just because they are cute.

    He's actually VERY good at paying attention to me and walking by most people and even some dogs with no reaction... if they ignore him.

    Once they get excited, it's over. They come over baby talking and freaking out, and he immediately senses their energy and starts jumping for attention, even if I'm actively trying to give signals to the person not to come over.

  • Wow, this is looking like quite the intense situation, who would have thought that training a delightful doggo could be so complicated. But suppose someone tried to pick up your child and hold them while you were trying to teach them to skip stones at a lake. Not only would it be weird it would also be very counterproductive to their learning.

  • Well now it is not all too hard to understand how the people of the public simply cannot control themselves around such a sublime cutie. Honestly, it is impressive that this pawrent was even able to initiate training this pup, when they have to content with such serious amounts of cuteness.

    EDIT: you are not being dramatic at all. Those people are being rude. Especially with a puppy. So much training is going on in its head even when you are not actively training it.
