'[I] never had a cat, so this is new to me': A smol void kitten wanders to person's porch, the kind hooman adopts the blissful baby and asks the wholeosme online feline family for advice

The Cat Distribution System works in mysterious ways. You might want to be a cat pawrent, but the CDS knows you're not ready yet, so it doesn't distribute a cat to you. But you might not even think of adopting a cat for a single day in your life, and then the CDS decides that you are the right person, and the right time is right meow. And then, that's it, you're a cat pawrent. There's nothing you can do about it, but adopt the cute little fluffy addition to your family.

That exact thing happened to one kind person when the Cat Distribution System decided that this was their time to shine. This person is a dog pawrent, never thought of expanding the family with a cat. But the CDS works in mysterious ways, isn't it? A smol void kitten dropped on the person's porch, and looked like he was alone, without a mama cat to feed him. This cute little creature was scared, despite the gentle attempts of the hooman to feed him.

This wholesome hooman didn't give up. And what do you do when you don't give up? You ask for help. Yes, that's a sign of true strength. Luckily for this dog pawrent (who's about to become a cat pawrent, obviously), the online feline family is made of heartwarming people who are always willing to give advice and encouragement. Spoiler alert: This kind person adopted the cute kitty and updated the other cat pawrents online. It's a whole wholesome ordeal.

It's always so heartwarming to see a cat pawrent to be stepping into their role designated by the Cat Distribution System.
