If we were a teeny tiny kitten, feline fam, we would certainly make friends with the family dog. There is only so much you can do with four paws, but with eight paws? The awwpportunities are limitless. Plus, then you could blame the dog for literally everything and the dog couldn't do anything about it. That's why we love cat-dog duos, the combination of smol and lorge, fluffy and fuzzy, and cat and dog just fills our hooman hearts with joy. 

It seems like we're not the only ones because as soon as these parents posted about rescuing an abandoned kitten that became smitten with their massive doggo, other pawrents of beautifully bonded pairs chimed in with their purrfect pairs.   • What we love the most is when the cat literally sleeps on top of the doggo. No, no, it's not enough to use them as a pillow, they must become the whole bed.

    Been there, bathed the kitten and set her on the floor. Went crazy trying to find her. Best buddy's forever. And yes that is a police dog rescued from Oakland PD.

    we have a cat who we say was raised by a dog they slept like this all the time. Magnus the kitten in the photo is ten now and still finds comfort in our now oldest dog and grooms her and cuddles.

    Intelligent-Ebb-8775 Had a GSD who was... quite protective. Would have likely taken down an intruder, but when I brought a teeny rescue kitten home, he understood the assignment. So patient and sweet, it was adorable

    Kitten dog duos are the best. I got Leroy at 4 months (he's 10 months now) and he immediately bonded with my dog. They're inseparable now

  • When we were growing up our cats and dogs tolerated each other. They definitely weren't bonded by any means. But every once in a while, you would see them give each other kisses, and that was purrfectly awwdorable.
