29 of the Best Gaming Memes of the Week (May 14, 2025)

Gaming memes have run the internet for so long. So many of the classic memes were inspired by video games. Remember the "took an arrow to the knee" meme? If you do, you not only qualify for the veteran's discount but you should probably get your own knees checked. That was part of the canon of classic and original memes and it came from Skyrim. 

Or what about "all your base are belong to us?" Again, veterans only. That phrase came from a Japanese video game called Zero Wing which came out in the late 80s. And who could forget "press F to pay respects." That has become so intertwined with the fabric of internet culture that you know what it means whenever someone says "F" in the comments. And that came from Call of Duty back in the day. All to say gaming and memes have gone hand in hand for as long as there have been gaming and memes.
