'My friends told me 10 times not to do it': Food truck reviewer gives 5-star rating to chicken sandwich, even after 8 workers beg them not to eat it

Everyone has their own tolerance for hot food: some can handle the mildest sauces only, while other don't break even a sweat when confronted with ghost peppers. For most of us, it's somewhere in between there. Maybe you eat regular hot sauces, but can't handle the one that create 5-alarm fires in your mouth. Or maybe you avoid that stuff all together because it makes you cry, sweat, or get a runny nose.

I enjoy some hot sauces, but I dislike eating a sauce that takes over the entire dish. Burning hot is one thing, but if all I can taste is pain, why am I even bothering to eat that food? I want to actually taste a chicken sandwich and the lettuce, tomato, and onion on it… not just the overwhelming taste of hot sauce that'll make me sniffle and cry. But to each their own! 

This person left a glowingly positive and also very funny review for a food truck. The owner shared it, and people in the comments had tons of questions about how many people have tried this legendary chicken sandwich and what happens at this restaurant on a day-to-day basis.

    10 minutes ago I almost went to the hospital after eating the 10 spicy hot chicken sandwich. They told me 8 times not to do it. My friends told me 10 times not to do it. Random bystanders advised highly against it. I got halfway through the chicken sandwich and I was in so much pain I took

    going to the emergency room for about 3 hours. All in all, 10/10 experience, great service, great atmosphere, tasty chicken, highly recommended. Very refreshing for a 10 spicy to actually be dangerously hot. Would not attempt if you do not have health insurance.

    Incredible stuff! This person went through the 7 circles of heck and still came out the other side with a smile on their face. It's a concise and very informative review, and also one that inspired a lot of people to want to try the chicken sandwich.

    Imagine ordering a food, only for the entire restaurant's staff to beg you to reconsider

    DField118 OP It's maybe 1-3 times per week on average. We heavily dissuade and I look for pretty specific verbiage/knowledge to allow it. That being said, I'm framing this review so people have a better understanding from a firsthand experience

    Wi... Hey!! My brother and I ate at your spot our last time in town! One of your awesome cooks made me a "7+" sandwich and I had to take some breaks in between and it gave my brother the hiccups from a single bite. Spend the night in my Airbnb eating pepto tablets and looking at the bathroom walls.
