Ah, the coveted long weekend. We all need a few of those a year to keep us from feeling like we want to quit our lives completely and move to Tibet. A little dose of freedom will do every now and then. This one- Memorial Day for those of us in the States- is a particularly fun one. It comes after a long dry spell of holiday-less time, the weather is usually beautiful but not too hot, and it signals the beginning of summer. 

Some of us will fire up our barbecue grills and get some dogs on the flame. Some of us flock to the beach where we will elbow our way through the crowd for some good sunbathing space. And some of us will take this time to simply do nothing- something that feels pretty rarified these days. But whatever your plans are, make sure that memes are on the menu.
