16-year-old student belittles classmate's intelligence in front of the whole class, classmate gets even by removing her name off of the group project: 'She never spoke to me again'

It's always surprising which comments people made in high school that end up sticking with you. You could be complimented by others for your skills, your work ethic, or even your individuality. However, if we're all being honest with ourselves, the comments that tend to linger in your minds are never the nice ones. They are often the unnecessary, embarrassing, or sometimes straight-up unkind remarks made by other classmates when the teachers aren't looking or paying proper attention.

In this instance, we have a high school student who impulsively said something incorrect in class and was subsequently belittled by an immature classmate in the room. It was one of those situations where it all happened so quickly and the student was rendered unable to think of something to say in response. So she let it slide… for now.

Eventually, when it came time for group projects to present their work, this student found the perfect opportunity to properly clap back at the immature student who insulted her for no legitimate reason.

  • The worst part of this story was that the teacher didn't say anything at the moment, despite being very much in the room. Still, at least he allowed the student to take the immature classmate's name off of the group project after it was proven that she contributed next to nothing.
