Hello geeky cat pawrents! Did you name your cat after a character in a geeky fandom? We'd love to hear about it. We asked some of the true nerds around the office what they named their cats after, and here are the most geeky names, straight out of nerdy fantasy land:

"Her name is Khaleesi. Yes, it's not a unique pet name by this point, but I adopted her when HBO's Game of Thrones was all the hype, and my cat acted like she owned the place from the very first second. Naming her after such a fierce fantasy queen seemed very fitting."
"My cat's name is Bruce. He's a big tuxie boy, and his face fur pattern looks like Batman's mask - black head, but white from the nose and under. This is why I named him Bruce, to protect his secret Batcat identity."
"When I adopted my Katolis, I struggled with picking a name for him. But a few days after the adoption was complete (with a temporary name I gave the vet for bureaucratic reasons), my nephew introduced me to a TV show he likes - The Dragon Prince. Since it takes place in the fantasy kingdom of Katolis, I knew immediately this should be my cat's name. It also sounds like a medieval cat's name of something… Catolis!"
