This guy is known in his office for taking leave from work at the same time every year. For the past five years, he's taken his vacation at the same time to visit his wife's family.
This year, his company emailed him at the very beginning of his leave, wanting to discuss his "excessive" use of personal time off this calendar year. The only other time he'd taken off was when his grandmother passed away, and he had to step up in the family because he had power of attorney.

It's not enough that his vacation isn't even really a vacation anymore. Now his job is criticizing him for taking one at all! He decided to hand in his resignation after his vacation ended. Is that what you would do in this situation? Or is that throwing the baby out with the bathwater?
