I swear since just before I got my positive test, this dog has been acting off. Moira is a cat in a dog's body—she's aloof, she wants pets and affection on her terms, and she is NOT a cuddler. Now I'm pretty sure she'd crawl into my skin if I let her.

My husband is ded to her. He tries to take her out in the morning? She's at my feet until he physically gets her. She just wants me, all the time. She's in hysterics every time I enter the apartment, no matter how long I was gone. I'm in the bath?

She's on the bath mat. Toilet? In between my feet. Couch? Between me and my husband. God forbid - another dog comes near me — she laid her friend the out for daring to jump on my leg. She's always been high strung (Clomicalm is a life saver), but now she's channeled her crazy into me.

My other (boy) dog doesn't have two neurons to rub together, so he's been the same as always. Small mercies.

thriftygemini ⚫ I'm 6 months pregnant and my dog has no idea

Narrow Plankton6969 ⚫ My boy dogs were extra clingy at first. Girl dog (not very bright) started preferring husband. My cat is really the one that became obsessed with me tho

jeepjeepgrayjeep ⚫ My older dog kind of noticed early on and snuggled me more than my partner- which was unusual for her and short lived lol. The younger one is just happy to be alive, no thoughts between her ears

WebkinzMurderer69 ⚫ Awe that is so sweet - they really are so intuitive. My lab has always been affectionate but now she wants to be resting her head on my belly. all the time.

Interestingly when I was only about 12 weeks along and obviously not showing AT ALL, my sister's horse kept bopping her nose on my belly. It was amazing that she knew.

JudgmentOne6328 I got the one neuron type dog and keep telling him he's supposed to be clingy of me.... Nothing.

runnery7 Going on 8 months and I don't think my boy has a clue was SURE he would act differently. Guess he just thinks I have a belly now

Ok_Interaction 1375 I was so excited to see how my boy lab (super clingy) would react! He's a certified only child and has literally been ignoring me/preferring my husband for months. It makes me so sad

mycatsnameistilly My dog pretty much stopped caring about me when I was pregnant. He's supposed to be my dog, I got him before ever meeting my partner, but as soon as I was pregnant, I didn't matter. He stopped. listening to me, barely came to me for love unless I had treats for him. Hurt my feelings lol

novasmiles Top 1% Commenter Not my dog but my cat! He is obsessed with me since I got pregnant. Will follow me everywhere and will always sleep on my belly.

letsstoptalking Our dog was always a little clingy, but she's gotten even more so. Now she follows me to the bathroom and tries to sleep either between my legs or right next to my face, which is new. She's about 20 pounds, so while she's not huge, but not exactly small enough to make it comfortable for either of us.

Firm Emergency_6080 I have 3 dogs, 2 boys and 1 girl. The female dog has always been my husband's shadow and its unspoken that shes his dog. Ever since getting pregnant she has been at my side 24/7! When im sleeping she will get on the bed and try to get as close to me as possible. She waits for

me to wake up in the morning to go downstairs when she has never done that before. Worst of all, my husband often works nights and she barks at every bump in the night like shes my bodyguard. Lol also my boy dogs couldn't care less.

Odd_Station_7238 I was always so excited to see how my two (boy) dogs would react to me pregnant... yeah neither of them had a clue the whole 9 months lol

WiseBat My older dog has noticed I think and will post himself on guard behind me when I'm in the kitchen cooking or in the bathroom the younger one has always been clingy so it's harder to tell if he knows yet.
