Tourist attempts to ‘hijack’ traveler's small guided tour and repeatedly interrupts the informative tour guide, claims she is entitled to do so because she ‘paid for a flight’

A good vacation can cure any summer sadness. Many folks save up for months or years to make their dream vacay happen, and every day is just a countdown to when the big trip arrives. You want to believe that the trip you've been idealizing for years is going to go exactly as planned, but it's easy to forget that every other tourist on your vacation is also giving big "main character energy" in the worst way possible.

What do I mean by this? Well, you have the loose teens who are undoubtedly under the influence riddling the beach, but then you have the middle-aged know-it-alls with sun visors hounding a local tour guide because he's "talking too much"…

In this next story, a traveler is dealing with the latter. While on a small tour, a woman, who did not pay for the tour, believes she is entitled to interrupting the tour guide and incorrectly "correcting" him on local facts. Scroll to read how the story ends.

  • crujones43 I was on a tour about a year ago in peru. This one jacka would get giddy while our tour guide was saying something. Like literally bouncing up and down. He would then gleefully correct the tour guide and act like he was so smart. Everyone hated him.
