Entitled neighbors hog parking space that isn’t theirs, residents retaliate with ongoing pranks: ‘We live rent free in our neighbor’s head’

You know you've got a problem when all your neighbors detest you. A decent person would react to this fact by figuring out what it is they are doing wrong rather than doubling down on infuriating behavior. Unfortunately for these residents, their neighbors must have enjoyed being difficult. Not only did they own one of the few houses in the neighborhood with a sizable enough driveway for all of their cars, but they also felt entitled to a parking spot right in front of the author's home.

This person, of course, did not have a sizable enough driveway for their own car and needed that space. Despite various attempts to negotiate with their neighbors, these people would not budge. This, of course, meant that the only way to get them to change their ways would be to inflict some much-deserved petty revenge on them. Let's just say that after a series of ongoing pranks, this author and their family would be remembered by their neighbors long after they left the suburb.

    We've been long gone for nearly three months and they still recognized us. They pulled up super close to get a closer look. I could see them lean forward over the steering wheel, squint, and snarl. It was them. They follower behind at a far distance until reaching their destination.
