Pool safety is a big deal when you have kids. Parents don't want anything to happen to their little ones, obviously, and they also don't want to be the reason another person's kid is put into a hazardous situation. Pools can be a major source of fun in the heat of the summer, but they can also be the reason why you get into an annoying, entitled argument with Helicopter Parent Hannah. If her kid didn't want to get splashed, she should've told her kid that water is wet…

Though children can be little stinkers, the mom who posted this story's complaint is primarily with the little girl's parents. Instead of accepting that the mom had told the little girl to steer clear of her kids if she didn't want to get in the middle of their roughhousing, the parents took their frustration out on both the mom and her kids. Pools are playing, pools are for getting wet. If the little girl wanted to do neither, her parents should have communicated that prior, and this situation could have been avoided. Where were the parents, anyway?
