As animal people, there truly is nothing that makes us happier than seeing an animal happy. Their joy is contagious. You can't help but smile at it. Even when it's something small that brings them joy. Like that amazing video that we saw a while back of a squad of capybaras taking on an enormous watermelon, or that other one of a bear catching a snack in one paw that a human throws at it, or that adorable video of lions just rolling around in fresh bedding. 

When they're happy, we're happy. Even when it's little things. But when it's big things… when something huge and important happens that brings an animal the kind of joy you have never seen before… then, we're not just happy, we've got tears of joy in our eyes.
